Binh Thuan dragon fruit has a distinct flavor and aroma, as well as numerous health benefits. It is well-known for its white, red, and purple dragon fruit varieties, which are valuable for both domestic consumption and export. Neem salad (An Giang Province, Vietnam) is a traditional local cuisine that is also a wonderful health cure. The primary components of neem salad are neem leaves, dried snakehead fish, boiled bacon, cucumber, tomato, pineapple, mango, and other vegetables, as well as herbs, coriander, crushed peanuts, and chili garlic sauce. 9. THE LOTUS-BASED DISHES (DONG THAP PROVINCE, VIETNAM)
The Lotus-based dishes (Dong Thap province, Vietnam) set an Asian Record value (according to the Asian Records Criterion for Cuisine and Specialty). Dong Thap province (Vietnam) is known as the “Land of the Lotus,” with several lotus lakes. Dong Thap lotus is not only used for adornment, but it is also made into hundreds of delectable foods ranging from soup to dry meals, savory cuisine to dessert, instant food to packaged things as tourist presents. Almost all parts of the lotus plant, including the root, stem, flower, seed, and leaf, can be prepared into tasty dishes. The record was confirmed on August 16, 2022.

At the 52nd Meeting of Vietnam Record Holders taking place on May 20, 2023, the Asia Book of Records (ABR) officially awarded Asia Record Certificate to 9 Vietnamese localities with famous cuisines and specialties setting records in the year 2022-2023.
