Nissin, the company behind iconic instant ramen products like Chicken Ramen and Cup Noodle, is known for its innovation. Now, the company is making history once again with the introduction of the world’s first Gaming Cup Noodle and Gaming Curry Meshi.

While Cup Noodle is already a familiar product, Curry Meshi is a new addition to Nissin’s lineup. Instead of noodles, Curry Meshi is a rice-based meal made by pouring boiling water over it and waiting for five minutes. This product has expanded to include other interesting variations.

The new Gaming Cup Noodle Energy Garlic & Black Pepper Yakisoba and the Gaming Curry Meshi Energy Ginger Keema Curry are specifically designed for gamers. These meals provide what Nissin calls the “strongest buff meshi” (buff meal) for gamers. The term “buff” in the gaming world refers to improving a gamer’s strength in terms of attack power, defense power, resilience, and movement speed within a game.

These gaming meals contain special ingredients to increase the strength and energy levels of gamers in the real world. The Energy Garlic & Black Pepper Yakisoba features seasoned minced pork, shrimp, egg, and cabbage, with a peppery soy sauce-based sauce. The Curry Meshi Energy Ginger Keema Curry has a fragrant and spicy roux with a hint of ginger and a base made with onions, tomato, and pork.

Both meals are sauce-based instead of broth-based, making them perfect for quick and clean eating between games. The packaging design of these products is unique and immersive, with elements that transport gamers into the digital world. The key ingredients to give gamers the desired buff are caffeine, arginine, and niacin.

The Nissin Gaming Cup Noodle Energy Garlic & Black Pepper Yakisoba and the Nissin Gaming Curry Meshi Energy Ginger Keema Curry will be available in stores across Japan from September 18 at a recommended retail price of 280 yen.
