The company has not yet revealed the price and availability details of the smartphone. Customers will be able to purchase the Oppo A73 in Classy Silver and Navy Blue options. The smartphone comes with a quad-camera setup and is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor.

The Oppo A73 sports a 6.44-inch full HD+ AMOLED display with 1080×2400 pixel resolution and 20:9 aspect ratio. The display is protected with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on top. The smartphone comes with dual SIM functionality and runs Android 10 operating system topped with the company’s own ColorOS 7.2.

Oppo A73 is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor paired with 6GB of RAM. The handset offers 128GB internal storage which can be expanded further by adding a microSD card. The smartphone sports a quad-rear camera setup which comprises a 16MP main sensor with LED flash, 8MP ultra-wide fixed focus camera, 2MP mono lens and 2MP macro sensor. The front is home to a 16MP selfie shooter which is placed inside the waterdrop notch.

The smartphone comes equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor and is backed by a 4015mAh battery with 30W VOOC charging support. The company claims that the smartphone can charge completely in less than an hour.
Recently, it was reported that Oppo is planning to build its own short video platform just like TikTok. While details about the platform are still scarce, the world’s fifth-largest smartphone vendor may launch the service later this year, a top executive of the company told the South China Morning Post.
