Beginning just two minutes before midnight, the show is in partnership with CHUM104.5 and will be set to the music playing on the radio station.

The CN Tower’s more than 1,300 LED lights can produce 16.7-million colours and tons of different lighting effects.

And the fun doesn’t stop at the light show, either. A virtual event called ‘From Ontario With Love: A Celebration of Hope’ will begin at 10:30 p.m. on December 31.

It will feature music, storytelling, live performances, and even fireworks. Even Mayor John Tory will be joining in on the action. You’ll be able to watch a live stream of the CN Tower display on the City of Toronto’s YouTube channel.

There’s no question about it — this New Year’s Eve is bound to be different, but at least you can ring in the New Year in a quintessentially Toronto fashion.
