The Nha Trang Beach Festival 2023 was conducted in Nha Trang City (Khanh Hoa province, Vietnam) from August 2nd to 6th. During this event, the Nha Trang Beach Culinary Festival was arranged by the Khanh Hoa Culinary Culture Association, gathering hundreds of traditional Vietnamese delicacies.

The “Bread Tower” with the words “Banh Mi Nha Trang” is the showpiece of the “Banh Mi Nha Trang Past and Present” exhibition. This figure was painstakingly created with the local Nha Trang thick-crumb bread. The solid structure stands 3.2 meters tall and 6 meters long and was built with around 800 loaves of bread. Hoang Thi Anh Tuyet, a culinary artist at HTCHEF School, designed the sturdy Bread Tower in partnership with Artist Phuong Dai, a member of the Khanh Hoa Culinary Culture Association.

The solid Bread Tower

Banh mi Nha Trang has a crispy and eye-catching yellowish-brown crust, accompanied by an enticing scent and thick crumb. Despite being stayed outside from 3-4 hours after grilling, the bread is not dry and still preserves its crispness greatly. This is the distinguishing characteristic of Banh mi Nha Trang when compared to the others

The tower drew many local and international visitors, promoting the reputation and image of traditional Nha Trang bread to thousands of visitors.
