Mr. Le Duc Trong was born on April 28, 1957, and he lives now in Hamlet 1 Bat Trang, Bat Trang commune, Gia Lam district, Hanoi. He is the Director of Bat Trang Design and Product Ceramic Joint Stock Company, during his working period from 1973 up to now, Mr. Trong has always been active in the technical field of the ceramic industry and participated in a number of related industries.

Mr. Le Duc Trong is the leader of the design team for the 231m3 ceramic-fired shuttle kiln with reversible fire. He is also a pioneer in Bat Trang artisan community in terms of conserving fuel and lowering gas emissions into the environment.

The ceramic-fired shuttle kiln has a capacity of 213m3 and is fueled by LPG. It functions occasionally on the reverse flame concept, which helps to provide uniform quality and output while saving fuel and minimizing pollutants into the environment.

Mr. Le Duc Trong was officially awarded the World Record Certificate by the World Records Union (Worldkings) at the 52nd Vietnam Record Holders Meeting for the world’s largest capacity ceramic-fired shuttle kiln with reversible fire and movable shell structure, which operates on the principle of natural attraction.

Dr. Biswaroop Roy Chowdhury – Chairman of the World Records Union; Dr. Le Doan Hop – Chairman of the Establishment Council of the Vietnam Records Organization (VietKings); and Prof. Hoang Quang Thuan – Co-Founder of Vietnam Records Organization awarded the World Record Certificate to Mr. Le Duc Trong.
