The Vietnam Records Organization has formally proposed to the World Records Institute (WorldMark) and the USA Records Organization (USKings) beginning the Journey to nominate TOP 100 best-selling OCOP-certified items in Vietnam 2023 with the purpose of enhancing the image of the nation and the Vietnamese people not only through record values but also through other distinctive qualities. Due to this journey, foreign buyers will have comprehensive and close access to Vietnam’s distinctive values.

Khau sli cake is an indispensable traditional cake in the Tet holidays for the Tay and Nung ethnic groups in Cao Bang. Khau sli locally means “puffed glutinous rice cake”, also known as “peanut-contained popped rice cake.”
Na Giang Khau sli cake is processed following the traditional recipe with locally available ingredients such as glutinous rice, peanuts, and honey; then produced by craft methods handed down from ancestors with different stages such as steaming glutinous rice, pounding and mixing it with rock sugar, spreading out peanuts, and more.
The puffed glutinous rice grains are combined with iridescent yellow sugar, and a layer of shiny red-brown peanuts is evenly covered on the cake’s surface. The resulting cake is extremely crispy, thanks to the sweetness of rock sugar, the perfume of puffed rice, and the nutty flavor of peanuts. On cold winter days, a slice of Khau sli cake with a cup of steaming green tea will be a lovely accompaniment.
