Komodo Pink Beach, aka Pantai Merah, is a stunning beach located on Komodo Island in Komodo National Park, Indonesia. It is one of only seven pink sand beaches in the world, and its unique color is caused by the presence of microscopic red organisms called foraminifera.

The turquoise water color here is absolutely incredible. The way the pink sand contrasts with the blue waters. This crescent-shaped beach is about 700 meters long and is bordered by lush green hills on one side and crystal-clear turquoise waters on the other. The sand is soft and powdery, and the water is perfect for swimming, snorkeling, and diving. If you want the more awesome views, you better hike up the hills.

The beach is situated in an uninhabited island, which gives in to its unspoiled location. The only way to get here is via boat. The majority of boat trips leave from nearby Labuan Bajo on Flores Island.

Pink Beach is a popular tourist destination, but it is still relatively unspoiled. There are no hotels or restaurants on the beach, but there are a few small warungs (food stalls) where you can buy snacks and drinks.
