On the occasion of the 160th Birth Anniversary of physician and bacteriologist  Dr. Alexandre Emile Jean Yersin, VietKings awarded 03 national records that were officially registered and evaluated at the Nha Trang-Khanh Hoa Sea Festival 2023.

This is a worthy acknowledgment of the hard work and dedication that individuals and units have contributed to the Sea Festival, part of a series of activities commemorating the 370th anniversary of the establishment of Khanh Hoa Province (1653–2023) and the 10th iteration of the Sea Festival, which has been staged over the course of the past two decades (2003–2023).

The representative of VietKings attended the event including Lawyer Nguyen Manh Quy – Vice Director of the Vietnam Intellectual Property Institute, Permanent Member of the Establishment Council of the Vietnam Records Organization; Mrs. Nguyen Thi Quynh Ngoc – General Secretary of Vietnam Records Organization (VietKings).

The Vietnam record certificates that were announced and awarded on this occasion include:

  1. “Ao Dai Pho Bien Nha Trang” – The parade with the most number of women wearing Ao Dai participating to promote Ao Dai, the Vietnamese heritage culture.

The record-setting unit: Khanh Hoa Provincial Women’s Union

The “Honor Ao Dai: The Vietnamese Heritage Culture” parade, organized by the Standing Committee of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Women’s Union, witnessed the participation of over 6,000 ladies wearing Ao Dai. The parade was held in commemoration of the Nha Trang-Khanh Hoa Sea Festival 2023.

The vibrant and colorful image was captured when the parade, which included over 6,000 women wearing Ao Dai, moved 2km along Tran Phu Street, Nha Trang City

The parade was held as a solid affirmation to honor the Ao Dai’s significance in the Vietnamese lifestyle, evoke the pride and responsibility of presenting, and contribute to preserving and promoting the cultural significance of traditional Vietnamese costume.

2. The largest Vietnam map model made of seasoned sea grapes snack

The record-setting unit: KHANH HOA SEAFOODS EXPORTING JOINT STOCK COMPANY

The model has dimensions of 1.2m wide by 2m high and an area of 2.4 m2, made from 370 kg of fresh sea grapes (equivalent to 37kg of dehydrated sea grapes). The instant dried sea grape snack is seasoned with diversified flavors such as lobster floss, cheese, smoked salmon, bird nest, etc.

3. The man took photos of water balls and light via mobile phone, creating the largest abstract and surreal photo collection (370 photos)

Individual setting record: World Record holder Nguyen Van Phung

The collection of photographs was captured by Record holder  Nguyen Van Phung, to commemorate the 370th anniversary of the establishment of Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa (1653 – 2023). According to the author of the collection, the majority of the photographs lack of titles, as their classification as abstract or surreal is contingent on the subjective affection of the observer.

Record holder Nguyen Van Phung was awarded two world records from WorldKings, respectively, in 2019 and 2020, for owning the world’s largest collection of diversified products made of recycled tires and the world’s largest collection of miniature bonsai trees.
