World record holder Nguyen Van Luong, an elite artist and film director, was born in Hai Phong in 1957. He is a well-known film director at Hai Phong Radio-Television Station and in Vietnam. From 1988 to 2012, he made 221 films and television series in various genres about Vietnamese people and islands. 

Film director Nguyen Van Luong is known for producing the world’s largest number of films about Vietnamese people and islands. With numerous details, parts, and sequences portraying the character’s attitude, his films are bold with the sea and islands of his hometown, conveying the Vietnamese people’s love for their homeland in the most profound way.

In 3 years (2012-2015), he achieved many records and certificates from the Vietnam Records Organization, Asia Book of Records, World Records Union (WorldKings), and World Records University.

On June 6th, 2022, at the 2nd  Meeting of Celestial Sphere of Records – SPHERE.6 which took place at Rex Hotel, Ho Chi Minh City – Vietnam, on behalf of the World Creators Federation, Dr. Biswaroop Roy Chowdhury – Chairman of the World Records Union (WorldKings)  awarded Certificate of Membership and Gloden Plate to World record holder Nguyen Van Luong.

The Federation of World Creators, under the World Records Union (WorldKings) has acknowledged the dedication of film director Nguyen Van Luong and awarded him the Golden Plate for his creations and great contributions.
