The festival took place from October 13th to 14th, 2023. The primary event of this festival, with 4,500 participants, is the procession on October 14. The parade was split into two sections, which marched to Song Hau Park.

After the appraisal process at the event, the Appraisal Committee of the Vietnam Records Organization (VietKings) recorded that there were 4,500 women participating in Ao Ba Ba and Ao Dai parade in 2 groups. In which, the Ao Ba Ba parade has about 2,400 participants, and the Ao Dai parade has about 2,100 participants.

In this event, Can Tho City Women’s Union officially set the record with the content: ‘The parade has the most people wearing Ao Ba Ba and Ao Dai in Vietnam”.

At the event, there were the attendance of Mr. Duong Duy Lam Vien – General Secretary of the Vietnam Record Association, Director of the Vietnam Records Institute, Mrs. Vo Luu Lan Uyen – Deputy General Secretary of Vietnam Records Organization (VietKings), and Mr. Ha Phuoc Dung – Head of Records Project Development Committee
