The 4th National Excellent Team Commander Festival 2023 was held in Hanoi from August 16 to 18, with the engagement of students, officials and teachers from 63 Vietnamese provinces and cities. All of the Festival delegates are students as well as exemplary team leaders with outstanding accomplishments in the localities.

On the afternoon of August 16, 283 children, accompanied by officials and teachers, co-performed the semaphore (visual signals with hand-held flags) at the official opening ceremony of the event at Thang Long Imperial Citadel in Hanoi.

Following the direct appraisal process at the event, the Vietnam Records Organization (VietKings) officially presented the Record, titled: “The Semaphore ensemble performance with the most participation of Officials and Teachers in charge of the teams and Children delegates, who are excellent Team Leaders, from 63 provinces and cities (in the framework of the welcoming ceremony of the 4th National Excellent Team Leaders Festival 2023)” to the Central Team Council.

Held every 5 years, the National Excellent Team Commander Festival is conducted as a venue to meet, honor, and praise excellent team leaders countrywide in learning, training, and teamwork. Simultaneously, it is an opportunity for the Union and Team organizations to show their interest, covey their support, and create inspiration for the next team of Union officials.
