MC Quyen Linh, real name Mai Huyen Linh, was born on July 28, 1969, in Chau Thanh District, Tien Giang Province. Quyen Linh graduated from the School of Performance and Cinematics Arts 2 and went on to have a successful performing and hosting career, most notably with the program “Vuot Len Chinh Minh” (Beyond yourself), which made MC Quyen Linh famous.
The program “Bua Com Gia Dinh” (Family Meal), which was jointly developed by DAT Film Media and Ho Chi Minh City Television, is broadcast daily at 4.45 p.m. on channel HTV7, with MC Quyen Linh serves as the host.
As of June 28, 2023, MC Quyen Linh had prepared 2184 delicious dishes in more than 5,000 days of continuous broadcasting while serving as the program’s sole “chef” and becoming a familiar image to housewives and national television viewers.
Vietnam Records Organization (VietKings) has decided to award a Record to MC Quyen Linh titled “The Celebrity Who Cooks the Most Dishes on TV Shows” to recognize his achievements during the past 14 years.
