The Mittelallalin (3,456 meters) is a minor summit below the Allalinhorn situated above Saas Fee. This place is well known for the revolving restaurant which is the highest in the world and a glacier cave.

The world’s highest revolving restaurant is on top of a glacier nearly 3500m above sea level, reached by a remarkable alpine subway. A dozen of the highest peaks in the Swiss Alps slowly swirl by as diners warm up with hearty Swiss-German fare like kalbsbratwurst (veal sausage) with hash-brown-like röst, and Älplermakkaroni: macaroni in a creamy cheese sauce with ham, bacon, potatoes, and stewed apples.

The one thing even more fun than the tasty cuisine is the unique views of seemingly endless mountain peaks. In one hour the restaurant revolves 360 degrees around its axis, providing diners with an astonishing, ever-changing view while they’re enjoying regional and international delicacies.
