The HaiSea Wamis is a zero-emissions vessel, which means it does not produce any harmful pollutants. This makes it a more environmentally friendly option than traditional diesel-powered tugboats. The tugboat is also equipped with a shore power connection, which allows it to be recharged while docked.

The HaiSea Wamis is 28.4 meters long and 13 meters wide. It has a bollard pull of 65 tons, which means it can exert a force of 65 tonnes on a ship’s side. The tugboat is powered by a battery pack that has a capacity of 6,102 kWh. This allows the HaiSea Wamis to operate for up to 12 hours on a single charge.

The HaiSea Wamis is currently operating in the Port of Vancouver. It is used to assist ships with berthing and unberthing, as well as to provide escort services. The tugboat is also being used to test the feasibility of using electric tugboats in other ports around the world.
