The Saryarka Velodrome is an indoor cycling track located in Astana, Kazakhstan. It was built in 2011 and has a capacity of 9,270 spectators. Additional temporary tiers of seating can be added around the court area for basketball games, bringing the capacity to 10,000. The velodrome is shaped like a cyclist’s helmet and is made of steel and glass. It has a 250-meter-long track with a slope of 42 degrees on the turns and 12.5 degrees on the straights.
